05.01.2009 - Sunflowers Online Support

 

We have decided to change the focus of the group from setting up a local support network  where people could meet face to face to an email support network where anybody in the UK or further afield can access support from others who have been through similar experiencies.

 

We are still interested in setting up something locally (Wiltshire and surrounding areas) but feel it is important that this support is open to everybody, wherever they live.

 

If you would like to help set up the local group or would like promote a local group in your area, please get in contact.

 

 

 

 

22.07.2008 - Guestbook added to site.

We have created 250 Sunflowers contact cards with a little message and the website address on the back. We are hoping to distribute these cards to local libraries, health centres and other relevant organisations. Swindon Link Magazine has published a small article promoting the website asking readers who have experienced suicide loss to get in touch. I would like thank Roger Ogle for kindly publishing my story and promoting the website - I'm hoping with Roger's help we will reach others who need support.

Scrapbook page has been added to the Sunflowers website. I have come accross several memory pages for people to post little messages on the web for lost loved ones and thought our group could benefit from something similar.
